ABOUT ME

This is Gizem

I am an artist who lives alternately in two countries; Australia and Turkey. I've been travelling through chasing the sun.

I enjoy creating in different areas from corporate identity design, photography & multimedia to performing arts. I believe that

each form of art inspires and interacts each other.

I'm a nomad and nature is my home.

I blend in the nature quite often.

Most of my work revolves around children. This includes writing and illustrating childrens books, facilitating workshops and creative drama classes for preschool and primary school aged children. I enjoy working with & for kids. Their world inspires me while we exchange imagination and creativity.

Inspiration comes in many ways and different mediums are required to express various emotions and themes. This is why it is essential for me to let go of any barrier and follow the flow of curiosity; unifying my skills and knowledge of different practices together.

Movement is my guide. Travelling, yoga, dance, running, trekking, hiking are some of the tools that I use whilst delving into depths of my inner world to access my authenticity.
